The early church in Acts modeled a shared faith—where everyone played a part, and no one stood on the sidelines. In the same way, we believe church isn’t built on the gifts of a few, but on the sacrifice and service of many.  

That’s why we’re intentional about sharing the responsibility of serving, protecting, and strengthening the church that Christ is building. Whether you’re holding babies, leading a small group, or stacking chairs—every act of faithfulness matters.  

Here, we don’t just attend church. We are the church—together.

Are you passionate about meeting and connecting with new people? The Connect Team will help people go from crowd to community by greeting, welcoming, directing, and connecting them to the life and mission of Salt City Church. Connect Team consists of Parking lot Crew, Greeters, Ushers, and Hospitality

Our Prayer Team is all about encouraging prayer in our church and keeping it central to everything we do. These individuals possess gifts in discernment, encouragement, and intercession. They are available to pray with and for you, during our response time, and may lead corporate prayer during Sunday services.

Our Kids Team will partner with parents to lead, equip and empower KIDS to know and follow Jesus. We desire to see our kids being passionate disciples who represent Jesus to everyone everywhere!  Roles: Teacher (requires membership), Teacher's Aide, Check-In/Greeter

Our Setup and Tear-Down teams do the hidden, but critical, work of arriving early or staying late, preparing the building for worship services by setting up all equipment, and putting things away after services. If you enjoy serving behind the scenes, this team is for you! You are welcome (but not required) to serve on both teams. 

Our Production Team will work ‘behind the scenes’ to make our Sunday tech environment run like a well-oiled machine, providing a high quality, distraction-free environment setting up/ operating equipment for sound, lights, livestream/ media and photography.   

The Worship Team (vocalists and musicians) will lead and set the tone for authentic worship. Worship is not about performance, but it’s an overflow of a life deeply devoted to Christ. We believe that worship should be God honoring, Christ exalting, and Holy Spirit led, not just talent driven.
