We’re a new church, planted here in March 2024 — planting a church is a lot like planting anything else: it takes time, care, and a commitment to grow together.
We meet in a school — it’s simple yet full of possibilities. It reminds us that what matters most isn’t where we are but why we’re here: to worship Jesus, to love each other well, and to join Him in His work.
Being part of a church plant means stepping into something that’s being cultivated — a work where God is shaping not just the church, but each of us. It’s less about consuming and more about contributing.
It’s missional — because we believe Jesus wants to reach people in our city and beyond.
It’s shared responsibility — we’re not spectators but family, helping create a Gospel-centered culture that reflects Jesus.
It’s faithful in the little things — like planting a seed, growth comes through patience, prayer, and persistence.
And it’s transformational — because we see God at work, forming something beautiful out of our faith and obedience.
Our Rhythms
Every week we come together to behold Jesus, realign our hearts with His Gospel, and be equipped to live on mission with Him. Our gatherings are:
Prayerful — because we totally depend on God.
Relational — because we’ve been adopted into the family of God.
Worshipful — because God is worthy and we are needy.
Missional — because we’re sent to be salt and light.
Word and Spirit-led — because we seek to know God through His Word and walk with Him in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Salt Community Groups gather in homes across our city—intergenerational and college groups alike—to grow spiritually, build deep relationships, and live on mission together.
Wherever life happens, mission happens. Our aim is to Salt the City—to live sent, bringing the gospel beyond Sundays into everyday life, transforming hearts, homes, and neighborhoods.
Our Values
God is worthy to be sought! Prayer is not secondary, it is primary for Christians. It is our lifeline to God, and apart from him we can do nothing. We will seek and depend upon God in everything we do.
It is impossible to please God without faith, therefore we are willing to step outside our comfort zones to boldly obey and follow God wherever He leads us. Boldly living our faith should influence every area of our lives, so that it makes the Gospel attractive and opens doors for Gospel conversations.
Transformation happens in community--not isolation. God didn't call us to walk alone but has placed us in a spiritual family with many brothers and sisters in Christ. Therefore, we are intentional in growing deep in our relationship with God and with one another.
Our lives have been enriched by God’s generosity towards us. Therefore, we cheerfully and graciously share with others, what God has entrusted to us.
If you’re looking for a place to belong, to grow, and to join God’s mission, you’re welcome at Salt City!
